Our promise

With all the choices we make within Blooming Good, we try to burden our living environment as little as possible. We implement this in the production, the use of upcycled fabrics and reused materials as well as in our logistics.

With Blooming Good we offer a lasting alternative to the multiple use of fresh flowers. In which the entire chain is examined in the production process and use of flowers as a work of art. In the past, artificial flowers were made of silk, today mostly artificial silk and plastics. These products often contain harmful chemicals, such as bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates that eventually end up in our food chain. With the addition of our recycled materials, we have a collection that is partly developed with upcycled plastics and recycled fabrics. With this we convert waste and residual products into beautiful works of art. The upcycled materials are made of recycled PET plastics.

Where possible, we do our best to minimize plastic components and, together with our partners, look for alternatives that are not harmful to the environment.

We only choose the best quality flowers, not satisfied? Let us know and we will solve it for you!

Accountability

The production and transport of artificial flowers has an average CO2 emission of 3.8 kg. The flowers are used for 10 years. On an annual basis, this is an emission of 0.38 kg. A new bunch of flowers every 2 weeks emits 146 kg of CO2 per year. In the Netherlands, we produce 490 kg of waste per person per year. Waste from fresh flowers is 18 kg (4%) per year.
